This inaugural event of the Marketing and Communication Workshop event was attended by a total of 12,831 professionals.

Two topics were visited time and time again during the presentations: sustainable development and the current economic crisis! Talks were entitled “The green revolution: A new direction for a marketing field now adrift”, “Communication of a crisis vs. a communication crisis?”, or how about “Adapting our direct marketing operations to crisis conditions”.

Many brands have already understood that during economic downtimes, communication budgets should not be slashed but instead become even more visible, as you’ve probably noticed that a good number of advertisers have been intensifying their promotional efforts since the crisis hit.

The title of our talk, delivered by Stéphane Claret, Managing Director, made no exception: “Agency opportunities: Developing a continuous commercial and advertising publishing activity because in times of crisis, advertisers intensify promotional efforts.”
